PEZI is the division that provides research and classes within the Faculty of Educational Studies at Adam Mickiewicz University and outside - in AMU agendas around Poznan.
 

As far as research is concerned, PEZI employees are interested in broadly understood applications of electronic media and information technology (IT) in education. Here are a few issues:

• the computer and IT in the process of learning - a tool in the learner's hands
• the computer and IT in the process of teaching - teaching tools and methods
• new media in general pedagogy and all pedagogical subdisciplines
• the computer and IT in learning and teaching of foreign language and science
• e-learning, blended learning, mobile learning, virtual learning;
• 3D virtual worlds in education.

The teaching subjects/classes in PEZI cover the above issues and:

• the use of computer networks (webs) in pedagogy and in instruction
• the Internet as a source of information, data and educational materials
• designing traditional and electronic teaching materials with the use of comptuer and information technology
• assessing educational and instructional computer programs.
